Borrowing Rights
Staff and students employed by WNHS or undertaking KEMH courses can register with the Medical Library for full borrowing rights including loans or copies from other libraries, and off-site access to online resources - see Staff Registration tab above.
University students on placement at KEMH and members of other WA Health libraries have walk-in online access and borrowing rights only.
Loan Limits
The following loan limits apply to all borrowers:
Library Registration for WNHS Staff
Staff Registration Request Articles
WNHS staff - complete the Staff Registration form above to register with the Library & receive your login to request books & articles from other libraries.
Students who are also employed by KEMH have the same borrowing rights as staff and should complete this form.
Students completing a KEMH course should contact the Library to enable full borrowing rights : KEMH.Library@health.wa.gov.au
University students on placement at KEMH should complete the Student Registration on the tab above.

University students on placement at KEMH - download & complete this form if you want to borrow items from the Library. Return the completed form to the Library or by email: KEMH.Library@health.wa.gov.au
You can't register to request articles or books from another library unless you are also employed by KEMH or completing a KEMH course. If the latter 2 categories apply to you see the Staff Registration tab above.
Renewing Borrowed Items
The Medical Library allows the following renewals providing the item has not been requested by another client:
If you are registered with the Library you can renew your items online:
* You receive a barcode when you register with the Library. This will be on your Library card if you request one.
Accessing the Library catalogue off-site
To access the Library catalogue off-site you need a KEMH computer log-in and EzProxy access (see Off-Site Access tab above).
