It is important to know that their recovery is possible and that support from other people, such as you, is critical for them to heal from their trauma experience.

SARC (Sexual Assault Resource Centre)
The Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC) is part of the Women and Newborn Health Service. SARC has over 35 years of experience in providing high-quality care for females and males, 13 years and over, who have been affected by sexual assault or sexual abuse. SARC provides a 24-hour emergency service in metropolitan Perth.
Counselling services (SARC, NMHS)
It takes an enormous amount of courage to talk to someone about your experiences, but not seeking help can often lead to the situation becoming worse. SARC counsellors are trained to understand the impacts of sexual trauma and to support survivors of sexual trauma in their recovery.
